She was predeceased by: her husband James "Red" Greer; her children, Glyn Cain, Dorothy Meshell and R. B. Cain; her husband James Newsom; her grandson Terry Cain; and her son-in-law Sonny Hodges.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Hodges. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and family and friends.
