He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Perry Monceaux; his daughter Jo Hanna Kay Monceaux; his granddaughter Erin Nicole Richard; his parents, Louis Monceaux and Goldie Robinson Monceaux; and his brothers, Johnny and Shelton Monceaux.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Richard (Joetta) of Egan, Cindy Hoffpauir (Ray) of Milam, TX, Tommy Richard of Egan, Gail Gauthier (Sam) of Egan and Terry Joe Monceaux (Sonja) of Egan; and his great grandchild Lainey J. Gauthier. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
