He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Romero and Lorena Trahan Romero; and his sisters, Rena Fontenot, Genevieve Durio and Sue Ann Boudreaux.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mouton Romero of Crowley; and his siblings, Emmalee Newman of Lake Charles, Martha Deshotel of Jennings and Hilton Romero (Terrie) of Mermentau Cove. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
