He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Aloysius Hensgens and Kitty Schneider Hensgens; and also Raymond Hensgens, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Wyble Hensgens of Crowley; his sons, Josef Hensgens (Julianne) of Baton Rouge and Adam Hensgens of Baton Rouge; his stepdaughters, Jolene B. Heard (Cooper) of Shreveport and Jeanette B. Link (Kerry) of Crowley; his siblings, Jennifer Hensgens Mixon (James) of Bunkie, Wayne Hensgens (Debbie) of Crowley and Mark Hensgens (Tim Armstrong) of Crowley; his grandchildren, Korra Hensgens, Aidan Heard, Cooper Heard, Jr., Nathanial Link (Mary), Amalie Link, Jackson Link, Helen Link, Wallace Link and Shepard Link; and his great grandchild Eleanor Link.
