She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. C. C. Matirne; her parents, Raymond Alfred Bondy and Margaret Mack Bondy; and her brothers, Howard and Louie Bondy.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Matirne (Sue) of Lafayette, Gregory Matirne (Katy) of Carencro, Yvette Matirne Hunt (Tommy) of Lafayette, Keith Matirne (Tammy) of St. James, Scott Matirne (Barbara) of St. Petersburg, FL and Wayne Matirne of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Katie Matirne, Charlie Matirne, Nicholas Soloman (Alaina), Tiffany Spisak (Kolby), Tori Hunt, Cody Hunt (Patricia), Mason Matirne (Lindsey), Marie Ward (Collin), Jacob Matirne, Hunter Matirne and Carson Mudd (Henry); her great grandchildren, Korben Spisak, Luke Spisak, Grant Matirne and Lucille Hunt; and her friend Josie Millet.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (224 W 5th St, Crowley, LA 70526).
