She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Toepfer of Eunice, Christine Diaz (William) of Breaux Bridge, Roderick Bourgeois (Renee) of Jennings, Darrell Bourgeois (Gwen) of Lake Charles and Randall Bourgeois (Natalie) of St. Louis, MO; and her siblings, Mary Fontenot of Tyler, TX and Newton Leger, Jr. of Crowley. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
