She is survived by: her brother Terry Abshire of Baker; her extended family, Larry (Karen Maynard) of Crowley, Johnny (Tina Maynard) of Thibodeaux, Billy Maynard, Earline Cormier of Mire and Chris Maynard of Crowley; and her pets, Scoobie and Minou. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
