He is survived by: his children, Nancy Smith of Canton, GA, Sherry Taunton of Oakland, CA, Polly Taunton of Lewisville, TX, Molly Taunton of Crowley, David D. Taunton, Jr. of Crowley and Robert D. Taunton of Crowley; his grandchildren, Allyson Hill, Jennifer Taunton, Robert Taunton, Jr., Jason Fusilier, Jeremy Fusilier, Mary Fusilier, Emily Richard, Dicie Dupont, Sophia Rodriguez, Roarke Benoit, Jack Taunton, David Smith and Joshua Smith; and his brother Jason Taunton (Margaret) of Albertville, AL.. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
