With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cleve Edwin Gay of Crowley, Louisiana, born in Andalusia, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 73. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Cleve Edwin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Cleve Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his son Jude Gay; and his parents, Cleve H. Gay and Lilly Berry Gay. He is survived by: his wife Pam Carlin Gay of Crowley; his grandson Charlie Lervergne; his great grandchild Brentlee Lervergne; and his siblings, Theresa Carden, Steve Gay and Harold Gay.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1610 Evangeline Rd, Jennings, LA 70546).
