He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Witherwax Mouton; his parents, Lawrence "Shine" Mouton and Betty Mouton; and his brothers, Robert Lee Mouton and Brian Mouton.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lawrence Mouton of Lafayette, Jerry (Gwen Mouton) of Mermentau Cove and Linda Herpin of Estherwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
