She was predeceased by: her parents, Lurine Freeman and Sebastian Sellers Freeman; her children, Darrell Freeman and Daphine Freeman; and her siblings, Margaret Freeman, Sebastian "Bass" Freeman and Mike Freeman.
She is survived by: her son Dammon Freeman (Linda) of Lafayette; her siblings, John Freeman (Carolyn) of Mansfield, Elsie Bazile (Jerome) of Memphis, TN, Connie Freeman of Crowley and Andrew Freeman (Christine) of Rayne; her grandchildren, Nicholas Baker, Darrell Freeman, Jr. and Wilkins Freeman; and her great grandchildren, Jamal Baker, Sasha Baker and Darrell Freeman, III. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (417 W 3rd St, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
