It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Swinford Baccigalopi of Creole, Louisiana, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Nick Baccigalopi; his father Jasper Ogea; and his mother-in-law Gladys Babineaux Ogea. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Theresa Ogea Baccigalopi; his children, Joel Baccigalopi (Sherry), Susan B Hebert (Donald), Doyle Baccigalopi (Nila), Roger Baccigalopi (Angel) and Esther Baccigalopi; his grandchildren, Angela Baccigalopi-Borrowdale, Hannah Baccigalopi-McMillan, Chuck, Dwayne Benoit, Blake, Mark Baccigalopi, Erica Baccigalopi-Bradley, Theresa Baccigalopi-Menard, Tony Baccigalopi, Alicia Baccigalopi-Franks, Mathew Baccigalopi, Savannah Baccigalopi-Miller and Kendra Baccigalopi-Lewis; and his daughter-in-law Renee Baccigalopi. He is also survived by step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
