It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Primeaux Touchet of Cow Island, Louisiana, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Nursie Jane Bourque; her parents, Martin Primeaux and Emella Simon; her sisters, Nursie Hargrave and Myrtis Adams; and her nephew James Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Bourque of Abbeville, Gregory Mire of Cow Island, Sandra Willis (Sylvester) of Kaplan, Rachel Romero of Maurice, Deneen Boutros (George) of Santa Clarita, CA, Vonda Boutros (Michael) of Houston, TX and Tracy Mire of Maurice. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; her 15 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
