He was predeceased by: his parents, Esterlene McKnight and Ervin McKnight; and his brother-in-law Joel Shumpert. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sisters, Jonnie Faye Shumpert and Debbie Bell; his nephews, Jay Shumpert, Chad Shumpert and Corey Shumpert; and his pet Darby. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to your local animal shelter.
