Cooksey of Covington; his siblings, Pam Hicks (Jimmy) of Madison, MS, Paula Pepper (Butch) of Lexington, MS and Rex Cooksey (Dian) of Vancleve, MS; his aunt Faye Higginbotham of LaVergne, TN; his uncle George "Bub" Cooksey (Mary) of Ridgecrest, CA; his great-aunt Doris Covington of Brandon, MS; and his close friends, Lamar Ferrell of Lexington, MS and Joe Hendon of Vancleve, MS.. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
