“These words from Isaiah 57 comforted me after the death of my 25-year-old grandson. He was so young and so good. What a waste! Then I read this. "Faithful and devout men are taken away, while no one understands that the righteous person is taken away [to be spared] from disaster and evil. He enters into peace [through death];" We do not know what pain and suffering he is spared when he leaves this sometimes bitter and cruel world. Though we miss him so much we can be assured he is at peace.”
