It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Lucille Whitman Friedt (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitman and Margo Whitman (Davis); her husband Ralph Friedt, Jr.; her son Jay Frank Friedt; her grandson Joshua Friedt; and her brother Arthur "Artie" Whitman.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Friedt Beattie, Jeff Friedt (Faith) and Steve Friedt (Marilyn); her close friend Keisha; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Nave, Darla Friedt Mack and Jason Friedt; her great grandchildren, Lexi, Thomas, Haley, J. J. and Victoria; and her siblings, Becky Whitman and Allen Tilden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
