He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tung Soong and Yu Hsui Lee; his wife Tina Lew Soong; his children, Vera Soong, Raymond (Gail Soong) and Herman (Connie Soong); his grandchildren, Joshua Soong, Caleb Soong, Gabrielle Soong and Matthew Soong Hamrick; his great grandchildren, Jack Soong, Caroline Soong and Eli Soong; and his brother Yenling Tsai. He was also cherished by sister, and Ching Yung Chang, sister in law, a host of nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, as well as a host of cousins.
