Sylvia D. Spillman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia D. Spillman (Covington, Louisiana), born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on August 4, 2019 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia D. Spillman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lee Spillman; her parents, Ira Dunaway and Lou Etha Smith Dunaway; and her siblings, T. C. Dunaway, William Dunaway, Oveid Dunaway, Glen Dunaway, Hildria Dunaway, Ira Dunaway, Jr., Lanelle Bulloch, Ruth Moffett and Kathleen Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Tonda Spillman Collett and Donald Allen Spillman (Richelle Richardson); her grandson Sam Joseph Collett, III (Taylor Fernandez); her son-in-law Sam Joseph Collett, Jr.; her sister Shirley Stephens (Steve); and also Donald.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Special Olympics Louisiana, and/or the St. Tammany Parish Humane Society.
