With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Knight Carter of Covington, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Oscar Knight and Irene Driscoll Knight; and her brother-in-law Don Donlon. She is survived by: her husband James R. "Jim" Carter; her son Thomas R. Carter; and her siblings, Patricia Donlon, William Knight (Margaret), Robert Knight (Chloe) and Bruce Knight. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
