She was predeceased by: her parents, Sina Morgan Bourn and Robert Buford Bourn; and her sister Ola Mae Jenkins. She is survived by: her husband David M. Adkins, Sr.; her children, Belinda FitzSimons (David), David M. Adkins, Jr. (Karen) and Jess R. Adkins (Crystal); her siblings, Helen Lavergne, Mason Bourn, Bessie Sharp, Jewel Bourn, Lucille Gotti, Billy Bourn, Robert J. Bourn and Shelby Bourn; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Sherman FitzSimons, Analisa Sharp, Ashley Peasley, Brandon Adkins and Madison Renee Stafford. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Adkins to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
