It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ellis Christian (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert G. Christian; her former husband Cecil P. McMullen Sr.; her parents, Blanche Ballard Ellis and Paul J. Ellis; her siblings, Joyce Miller and James Ellis; and her grandsons, Travis McMullen and Jeffory Cubicke.
She is survived by: her children, Cecil McMullen Jr., Cynthia McMullen Werner (Robert), Steve McMullen (Bernardina), Wanda McMullen Evers (David Atkinson) and Keith McMullen (Clair); and her stepsons, John Christian and Chris Christian (Vivian). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Christian be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
