It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherwood David Barker of Covington, Louisiana, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley David and Ella Mae Jenkins Barker; and his sister Ann Barker. He is survived by: his children, Sherwood Daniel Barker (Simone) and Leah Barker Lee (Scott) of Covington; his grandchildren, Justin Barker, Brandon Barker, Chasse Lee (Kirstan), Zachary Lee and Hayden Lee; his great grandchildren, Laci Lee and Harper Lee; his sister Brenda Sowder (Billy); and his foster sisters, Lynn Jenkins and Dolly Price (Joey). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
