She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Gray Ewing, Jr. and Mary Gayden Powers Ewing; her siblings, Jasper Gray Ewing, III and Georgie Ewing Brunet; and her siblings-in-law, George Brunet and Charlotte Fenerty Ewing.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Dowd, III; her sons, Tad Dowd (Sara) and Tim Dowd (Christina); and her grandchildren, Hunter, Molly and Charlotte. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
