It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Sharp McClendon (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy J. McClendon; her parents, Annie Thomas Sharp and Percy Sharp; and her siblings, Melvin E. Sharp, Clyde P. Sharp and Hezzie B. Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrell McClendon Robinson (Jerry) and Paul David McClendon (Paula); her grandchildren, Richard Duggan, Jordan Duggan, Michelle Duggan, Emily Sharpe (Theodore) and Joey McClendon; and her great grandchildren, Jaelynn Duggan, Jaxon Duggan and Linkon Sharpe. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
