He was predeceased by: his father Russell Wilfred Wilcox, Sr.; and his granddaughter Kaileigh K. Wilcox. He is survived by: his mother Katie Frazier Wilcox of Abita Springs, LA; his wife Sharon Sheridan Wilcox; his children, Serena Wilcox-Harriel (Shantiz) of Whitlier, CA. and Russell Wilfred Wilcox, III (Kyashia) of Lacombe, LA; his grandchildren, Shanelle Harriel, Riley K. Wilcox and Russell Wilfred Wilcox, IV; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Young (Tyree), Arleen S. Thomas and Benjamin Sheridan (Brenda); and his godchildren, Harold Ramsey, Jr., Ethan Casmere and Natasha Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, ten adopted grandchildren and extended family and friends.
