He is survived by: his children, George, Byron (Christine) and Madelyn; his wife Irene Waguespack Taylor Monica; his children, Doriane (Stephen Usner), Kirsten, Molli, Emily, Chloe, Vaughn and Benjamin; his brother Mike Monica (Argie); his great grandchild Madelyn Norton; his father Ray Hymel; and also Matthew Taylor (Bridgette).
Although Ron loved beautiful flowers, his wishes were that his passion for dentistry be honored with donations to the fund he initiated to enhance education of periodontic graduate students at LSU Dental School.
