He is survived by: his children, Ronald A. Mentel, Jr. (Pam), Christopher A. Mentel, Elizabeth Mentel Ballas (Blaine), Nathalie Mentel Lavergne (Charles), Mark F. Mentel, Sr. (Arcilia) and Alicia K. Mentel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
