He was predeceased by: his wife May An Nita Hartley; his parents, Lola Mae Beck Hartley and Robert E. Hartley; his stepmother Sylvia Hartley; and his sibling Dean Hartley.
He is survived by: his children, An Nita May Sharp, Joseph Bowker (Bobbie Jo), Christina Mehling (Galen) and Angelica Sharp (Ethan); his siblings, Nancy Taylor and Sam Hartley; his grandchildren, Joshua Hartley, James Sharp, Annaleise Munson, Ethan Sharp, Jr. and Bella May Sharp; and his great grandchildren, Pyper Sharp, Hayes Sharp, Maddox Hartley and Harper Sharp. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Hartley may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
