With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Allan Gardner Jr. (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 14, 2020 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Philip Allan Gardner, MD and Carolyn Sue Cook Gardner; and his siblings, Jonathan Andrew Gardner (Corey), Matthew Benjamin Gardner (Megan), William Christopher Gardner (Kristin) and Elizabeth Ashley Gardner.

At the request of the family, those in attendance are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Philip may be made to Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics. Donations may be made at https: //cureangelman.org/can/donate.
