She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Koehne Hickerson and Logan Hickerson; and her sister Virginia Hickerson. She is survived by: her husband Donald Raymond Koester; her son Jon D. Koester; her grandchildren, Zachary (Kayla), Joshua (Jessica) and Gabrielle (Hunter Abadie); her son Stephen M. Koester (Kathy); her grandchildren, Nick (Sarah), Ben (Annabelle), Sam and Claire; her daughter Susan Koester Elliott (Cliff); and her grandchildren, Megan (Keith Stenhouse), Sarah (Cam Hilliard), Ethan and Sabrina.
