He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Horace Stewart and Thelma Maples Stewart; and his siblings, Joe Stewart, Gene Stewart and Dot Dykes.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Kountz Stewart; his children, Michael Stewart (Tiffany) and Lori Marcus (Steven); and his grandchildren, Julia Marcus, Mackenzie Stewart, Patrick Marcus and Megan Marcus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
