We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2021, at the age of 77, Michael John McGoey of Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Joseph McGoey and Lilly Jean Landry McGoey; and his siblings, Marion Cox (Tom), Katherine Garguilo (Tom) and Peter McGoey (Gaynell).
He is survived by: his children, Erica M. Marion (Louis "Trey" Marion III) of Covington, LA, Alison McGoey (Galen) of Oregon and Brendan McGoey (Ashley) of Abita Springs, LA.; his grandchildren, Louis Marion IV, Lilly Marion, Lainey McGoey, Rylee McGoey, Keawe Rhine, Kainoa Rhine and Iakona Rhine; and his siblings, Blaise McGoey (Janette), Richard McGoey (Renee) and Eileen Johnson (Bill).
