We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2018, at the age of 85, Melvin Henry Dennis (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Guess Dennis; and his children, Mark Dennis (Kathy), Judy Burley (Scott) and Michelle "Missy" Chatelain (Kim). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kyle Chatelain, Kevin Chatelain, Olivia Bertucci (Ryan), Jeffrey Burley (Blake) and Babs Burley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Mr. Dennis to the Covington Food Bank, 840 N. Columbia Street, Covington, LA 70433, http://www.northshorefoodbank.org.
