He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret "Peggy"; and his sibling Walter Tisdale. He is survived by: his children, Judith "Judi" Garrett, Matthew W. "Bill" Jones, Vicki J. Fussell (Eddie) and Cheri J. LaGrange (Eric); his grandchildren, Lennox Jon, Anna, Jessica, Billy, Brad, Will, Jeffry, Erica, Jason, Meghan and Kaitlyn; and also Jean Galloway Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Jones to be made to the American Cancer Society.
