She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Warren Bel of Amite; her sons, Paul Douglas and Charles David Bel; her parents, Dave Calvin and Ada Davis Gill; her siblings, Ada LeBlanc, Lena Mae Guillot, Dave, Lemauel, Percy and Daniel Gill; and her son-in-law James E. Mire.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Bel Mire of Mandeville and Carolyn Bel Heard (Michael); and her grandsons, Christopher Michael Douglas Heard of Jacksonville and Jeffrey James Heard (Jessica) of Ponte Vedra, Florida.. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
