It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Cecelia Pauli Dicharry (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter George and Laura Grennon Pauli; and her siblings, Peter George Jr., Edwin Charles, Joseph Francis, Norman William, William Grennon (Sonny), Lawrence Valentine and Catherine Rickelman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Dicharry Scott (David), Patricia Dicharry Lemaire Mire (Tom) and Mary Ann Dicharry; her grandchildren, David John Lemaire Jr. (Allison), Lisa Roussel (Paul), Jacques Lemaire and Amy Scott; her great grandchild Taylor Lemaire; and her sisters, Esther Lacoste and Gladiola Carson (Duddy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
While not a victim of COVID-19, her decline began during the resulting lockdown and isolation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
