It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Janssen Buford (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on June 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Sander Janssen and Dorothy; her granddaughters, Avery and Elizabeth Buford; her siblings, Jane LeBlanc (Dwight Jr.) and George Janssen (Elena); and her cousin Elizabeth Peltier (James Sr.). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the United Nations Children's Fund (https: //secure.unicefusa.org), an organization she helped support by coordinating many donation drives during her time at St. Andrew's.
