With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Lawrence Smith Jr. (Covington, Louisiana), born in Angleton, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite C. Smith; and his sister Earline Suarez. He is survived by: his sister Mary Jo Burns of Houma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in his name to the Christwood Foundation at 100 Christwood Blvd., Covington, LA 70433. All donations will go to Christwood's staff Scholarship Fund, a cause near and dear to his heart.
