She was predeceased by: her husband John Preston Matran Sr.; her daughter Dawn Wendy Matran; her parents, Charles Stumpf and Gertrude Stumpf; and her siblings, Delores Oustalet, Robert Stumpf, Charles Stumpf and Arthur Stumpf.
She is survived by: her children, Di Smith, Janelle Matran, John Preston Matran, Jr., Michael "Mickey" Matran and Angel Hammack; and her sister Elaine Carriere. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
