With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph John Cannizzaro Sr. (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cannizzaro and Ethel Brunet Cannizzaro; his brother John Robert Cannizzaro; his brother-in-law George Cortello; and his nephew Robert Cannizzaro.

He is survived by: his wife June Raymond Cannizzaro; his children, Leslie Martin (Bryan), Lynette Savoie (Rusty) and Joey Cannizzaro (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Noel, Angelle Martin, Holly, Russ, Justin, Lilly Savoie, Jake and Luke Cannizzaro; his sister Fay Cortello; and his sister-in-law Denise Cannizzaro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
