He is survived by: his wife Paula; his father Kenneth Herndon; his sister Ann Corcoran; his children, Crystal Green, Amy Cheney (John), LeighAnn Engle (Chris), Shawn Herndon (Alicia), Kyle Herndon (Nina) and Chet Hebert (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Andrew Shortt, Nina Hawkins (Hunter), BreAnna Dempsey (Aaron), Hunter Green, Tracy Dempsey, Caleigh Engle, Johnny Herndon II, Chloe Herndon, Ricky Herndon, Kenny Herndon, Wyatt Herndon, Elijah Herndon, Penelope Nicholson, Carolyne Engle and Rori Hebert. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
