He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Atwood Laborde; his parents, John Peter Laborde and Genie Zylks Laborde; his stepmother Sylvia Laborde; his sons, Marc Edward Laborde (Christine), Brian Lee Laborde (Elisabeth), William Todd Laborde (Lauren) and John Tracy Laborde, Jr. (Amanda); his siblings, Cliffe Floyd Laborde, Gary Lee Laborde, Mary Adrienne Laborde Macgowan and Katherine Griffin Wong; and his grandchildren, Braelyn, Charlotte, Ruth, Pierce, Genevieve and Lawson.
