He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Schmidt and Eva Sparks Schmidt; and his siblings, Kirk Schmidt and Cindy Schmidt Alcorn. He is survived by: his brother John Schmidt of Covington; and his nieces, April Schmidt Montalbano (Roy), Bonnie Schmidt, Coty of Abita Springs, Emily McIntyre of Kentwood and Melissa Schmidt (Chris). He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter and numerous Cousins.
