He is survived by: his children, Kelly Rogers (Gerald) of Covington, Sherri Montgomery of Covington, Mandy Leahey of Pearl River, Louisiana and Derrick Spell (Jennifer) of Covington, Louisiana; his brothers, Joel Spell (Janis) of Hattiesburg, Allen Spell (Debra) of Wiggins and Gary Spell of Perkinston; and his grandchildren, Johnathan Montgomery, Hunter Spell, Logan Rogers, Ali Montgomery, Cole Chaney and David Gremillon.
