He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozsef Bedo and Rozalia Kis; his former wife Noemi Sanchez Bedo; his wife Ilona Magdolna Sztaniszlovszki Bedo; and his son Joseph Bedo.
He is survived by: his children, John Bedo (Susan), Rosalie Blades (Buford), Lydia Bedo and Istvan Bedo Jr. (Donna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
