She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Baxter Whalen; her children, Elizabeth Ann Whalen Gesvantner and Charles Baxter "Bud" Whalen, Jr. (Chris); her parents, Pearl Ebbs Masters and Nicholas Masters; her brother Nicholas Masters, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gesvantner, Andrea Whalen Hummer (Drew) and Justin Whalen (April); and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Jack, Caroline Whalen, Anna Beth and Whalen Hummer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Whalen to be made to the St. Tammany Humane Society.
