She was predeceased by: her father Marvin King; her husband Melton R. "Johnny" Sharp; and her brother Edward King. She is survived by: her children, Dexter Sharp (Gwen) and Gwen Richoux (Gary); her grandchildren, Derrick Sharp (Stephanie), Jennifer Keating (Frank), Robert Richoux (Karn), Kayla Adams (A. J.), Blaine Bunje, Gabby Sharp, Emily Keating, Makenna Adams, Maddy Sharp, Olivia Adams and Quinn Richoux; her foster daughter Helen Barrett; and her siblings, Edith Lanzafami, Sue Sharp, Charlotte Cooper and Don King.
