It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Patricia Rideau of Covington, Louisiana, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stechmann and Leona Martin Stechmann. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Rideau; her children, Pamela Rideau Mathews (Roy), Stephanie Rideau Mares (Matt) and Michael Rideau (Julie); her grandchildren, Lauren Mathews Holstein (Patrick), Edwin Mathews, Jr. (Nia), Madalyn Mares Gallo (Darryl, Jr.), William Rideau, Brent Rideau, Britt Rideau, Amelia Mares and Ian Mares; her great grandchildren, Mason Holstein, Riley Holstein, Penelope Mathews and Cecilia Mathews; and her family, Douglas and Audra Degan.
