She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence William Stewart; her parents, Sarah Carlisle Jarrell and Jesse Doss Jarrell; and her sister Daisy. She is survived by: her children, J. C. Stewart, Brad Stewart and Sheila Stewart Ludwig; her siblings, Cile, Raymond and Harold; her grandchildren, Jessie (Jamie Stewart), Jared Stewart, Jacey Stewart and Collin Ludwig (Cailin Ludwig); and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Stewart, Blake Stewart and Joley Toney.
